Remarkable value for money
It's early days, but my initial test on this shows it runs the 90 watt pump for my air bed (probably a commutator motor so avoids the problems induction motors have with modified sine wave) using the 12V plug. It will also power the 700 watt microwave in my caravan, though the crocodile clip connecting leads were warm after just a minute's use. (The microwave has 1200W input.) I suspect the power output of the microwave is significantly less than when it has a pure sine wave power supply.
I plan to wire it permanently into the caravan to run the 230V sockets when we have no mains hook-up.
I'll be using 16mm2 cables to carry the heavy current, not the flimsy ones supplied.
If you're thinking of doing likewise, note that we have a solar panel on our 'van, and we'll only be using the inverter sparingly.
