Sturdy and big item
Happy with my purchase even tho one piece is leaking because of a tiny hole in it. Did put water as I do not have sand laying around in my garden.Be careful when ordering this kind of item as it is gigantic and you will need a very large space in your garden or patio but it will hold your parasol, so ok for large garden. I have a small town garden and had to put potted plant on the stand to make it let seeable.

My 4-piece Parasol Base arrived today and I was very pleasantly surprised. The quarters are bigger than others I've seen but I'm confident they'll hold a 3m+ Cantilever Parasol. They are made from a hard, sturdy, durable plastic which will take sand or water. Though it doesn't say in the description, the 4 connecting pins are included. The price is the best I've seen for this type and have already recommended this item to family members. Don't stay on the parasol base
Easy to fill with water but there are no metal catches supplied to keep the 4 quadrants together, so in the first strongish wind the movement of the parasol caused a rocking movement that resulted in the bases working themselves free of the weights & the parasol in danger of taking off, if I hadn't caught it quickly.
