Excellent value lathe
I must say that at such a low price point, I really was not expecting more than a toy to play with. However I am extremely impressed with the build quality of the lathe itself, and what I can achieve using it. In all fairness, this is my first lathe, so I am no expert, but I have managed to produce some very nice results. Quite how anyone could make a profit, selling at this price, I have no idea. Especially as I have seen the same item for sale at twice the price. The supplied chisels, are fairly basic, but adequate to get a feel of what can be achieved, and are easily replaced. Quite frankly, it is a surprise for them to even be included as the price is so low. This lathe is a great to start with, before possibly moving on to something far more expensive if you have bigger projects. For my needs, it works perfectly, and as you can see I am genuinely very pleased with it.

Very surprised!
I didn’t expect much (in fact didn’t even expect it to arrive as it was too good to be true). Minimal instructions (and they were for a different machine anyway!). I can’t even strike a match without breaking it let alone make something on a lathe but here is a ring made in half an hour. What a machine!!!! And unbelievable value.
