Description Drug Biostymina is an aqueous extract from fresh leaves of aloe threaded intended for oral use. Composition The active substance is a liquid extract of fresh leaves of aloe vera ( Aloe arborescens foil recentis extractum fluidum ) (1: 4). 1 ampoule contains 1 ml of liquid extract from fresh aloe vera leaves. Extraction solvent: water. Dosage Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, use the following dosing schedule. Adults: 1 ml (1 ampoule) daily or every other day. Adolescents and children over 5 years of age : 0.5 ml (half an ampoule) daily or every other day. Children under 5 years old: Not recommended. Duration of the therapy cycle: 10 - 20 days; if necessary, repeat the treatment once after a 4-week break. If symptoms worsen or persist, consult your doctor. Find the dot just above the notch at the narrowest point of the ampoule. The incision marks the breaking point of the ampoule neck. Side effects Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Not known: possible occurrence of allergic reactions. Warnings and Precautions In case of fever, shortness of breath, cough with expectoration of purulent sputum or other disturbing symptoms, contact your doctor. Store the drug below 25 o C.
