If you loved Making a Murderer or Team Foxcatcher, this one’s for you. A “documentary hybrid” that was previewed at this year’s Sundance Festival, its unique narrative blends fact, memory and legend. Not just a story about the death of the six-year-old pageant queen, according to Netflix, it is a piece that "examines how this crime and its resulting mythologies have shaped the attitudes and behaviour of successive generations of parents." Quite the eye-opener… Available 28th April.

Our top pick? The soon-to-be summer anthem, Get It Together.
