What are Grenson’s three main collections?
Their first collection is the G:Zero range which includes shoes that are made entirely in the Grenson factory. From the leather skin to placing them in the box, G:Zero’s showcase Grenson’s incredible mastery of the shoemaking art. The leather soles feature closed channel stitching - which means the stitches are neatly hidden from view, while the leather is made from chestnut bark tanned hides. The leather is also from only the finest French and Italian calf, while any suede shoes are made from Steads’ English suede. Even the smallest shoe details are handwritten on the lining to show the attention to detail that many shoemakers fail to include nowadays.Â
Their second collection, G:One’s are also made completely in the Grenson factory in the same manner as the G:Zero range. They’re lovingly made the old-fashioned way, from cutting and closing the uppers, to lasting, making and finishing. Made from high-quality burnishing leathers, they’re also fully lined with classic lining leathers for a superior look and feel. The sole leather is from the best tanneries and is therefore of an incredible quality. Last but certainly not least, their final range is the G:Two collection. To make their dress shoes more accessible, Grenson created this collection to have a lower specification than the G:Zero’s and G:One’s. Designed in their very own studio, they used a leather buyer to source leather, pattern makers to create a pattern, and many prototypes to create their final product. Representing amazing value for money, Grenson G:Two shoes deliver premium quality without breaking the bank.

Boasting such an incredible history, it’s not hard to understand why the heritage of this company is so important, especially considering how much they’ve managed to achieve today. Starting off in a loft above the Corn Merchants in Rushden, Northamptonshire, Grenson launched their first ever overseas shop is in New York in 2016, opened their 6th store on London's Jermyn Street the following year, and most recently launched their first signature fragrance, Grenson 66.
