How to use Tetrion Filler
The first step to filling any gaps, cracks or chips is to prepare the surface by clearing out any loose dust or debris and removing any wood splinters or rough edges - the cleaner the surface, the better your filler will bond with it. Tetrion also recommends using their primer spray to fully prepare the surface and ensure maximum longevity of your filler. Massage the tube with your fingers to loosen and fully mix the contents before cutting the nib at a 45 degree angle with a craft knife or scissors.
Squeeze out some of your filler into the gap and smooth out with a spatula or your finger if you are filling hairline cracks in corners. Allow to dry for the time recommended by the packaging before sanding down and leave for around 24 hours before painting over (if doing so).
Whether you’re filling cracks in stone, bricks or masonry, wooden surfaces, or even surfaces that experience a lot of movement such as door or window frames, Tetrion has an easy-to-use filler for you.
Not just filler, Tetrion offers a full range of products to help you with your DIY project you are undertaking. Help to seal leaks with their range of sealants and waterproofing products, make painting and decorating a breeze with their range of brush cleaners, white spirits and wallpaper strippers, or simply get stuck in with their range of adhesives including No Nails permanent fixing, spray adhesive or even just good old super glue.
