Description

If you aren’t familiar with Cards Against Humanity: UK Edition 1.7, where have you been for the last few years? Labelled as the 'party game for horrible people', every round has the potential to create some serious laughter!

The rules are simple - in each round, one player draws one of 90 black cards and reads the question or statement. The other players must use their white cards to fill in the blanks and create what they think is the funniest answer.

Sounds simple enough right? The twist is that this isn't your usual, family-friendly deck of answers. With some truly dark and disgusting cards in amongst the 460 white cards, the game can be as funny and wince-worthy as you or your friends want it to be.

This UK Edition is written for players on this side of the pond, and is therefore even more relevant and targeted towards Brits than ever before. Play with traditional rules or use the booklet for inspiration on all kinds of other ways to play. What are you waiting for?

An exciting and wacky concept to have fun with (teenage) friends.

Knowing nothing else than the title (which is perfectly chosen), I was surprised that one of my daughters was very desperate to have this as a birthday present, and I must admit that I felt awkward playing this with my wife and daughters when they asked me.

Imagine the most (often sexually) shocking actions written on each card, put in a variety of a social contexts, and try to come up with the 'funniest' card/situation. And, to my surprise, I learnt that in this world of non-political-correctness, you can still find a choice which remains funny without being utterly shocking or weird, and that was a bit of a revelation.

If this had been out in my teenage years, I would just have been excited playing this game, and not awkward at all (with my friends, but possibly not my parents). And as a dad, at the end of the day, it's a card game, it's fun and has a surprising constructive side to it, so well done for coming up with such a concept.

In fact this game is probably a very good test to see how progressive you consider yourself as a parent, and I'm now realising that I've failed miserably!
