Product: Bobby Timmons - This Here Is Bobby Timmons [CD]
I have been a dedicated fan of the great Bobby Timmons ever since I was a teenager back in the 60's. 'This Here' is an album with his unmistakable piano sound and he is, in my opinion, one of the truly great jazz pianists of the cool-soul jazz school. Every track has something to say in its own right, yet, taken as a whole, provides a great and connected experience. I really recommend it to anyone who already loves this style of jazz or is looking to experience the music for the first time. I would also recommend another album of his: 'Soul Time'. This was my first experience of Timmons' musical ability and has stayed with me until I'm now in my 70's. Enjoy them both if you've a mind to.
