About Carver Clamps

With fifty years of experience behind them, British industrial manufacturing company Carver produces a wide range of quality clamps that will suit all of your needs. Whether you’re a professional welding metal to metal, or a hobbyist who needs to secure your subjects as you work, you’ll find a selection of brilliant Carver clamps here!

The A-Z of Carver Clamps

Overall, Carver makes six different kinds of clamps, each one with a different securing method and a purpose in mind. The most popular of these are the bar and rack clamps. Simple and intuitive to use, these clamps have the widest range of applications, and are a great choice for securing projects in any workshop.

These Carver clamps have a special spring loaded jaw that stays in position even when pressure is removed, while still allowing the jaw to move to securely clamp angled surfaces. These clamps also won’t rotate the workpiece if they’re tightened, so you don’t have to worry about the shearing process of lateral force.

Both the rack and bar types of Carver clamps are top choices for welders. This is thanks to their unique anti-spatter shielding that protects the working parts, particularly the otherwise exposed vice screw, from being damaged by sparks produced by your welding torch.

The other varieties of Carver clamps you can shop from our virtual shelves are not as universally applicable, but work extremely well for certain workshop solutions. For example, you can find Carver T-Slot clamps that are best employed in drilling, machining and planing applications. These clamps can be used at angle, with the head creating a push action where needed.

You may also find the Carver multiclamp package in this edit. This set collects three Carver clamp heads together with a toothed bar. The three heads are interchangeable and provide a great deal of flexibility when working. Packaged together with a convenient protective case complete with foam padding, this set is a great introduction to the world of Carver multiclamps.

Spare parts for Carver clamps

Carver clamps have a lifetime guarantee and are built to the toughest specifications, but sometimes the worst happens, and that’s where our collection of spare Carver clamps parts come in. One of the most common issues with clamps is the teeth on their bars wearing away over time, so you can find a selection of bars among our virtual shelves. It’s also possible that the spinning vice screw that tightens up your jaw clamp can lose its luster, which is why you’ll also find a selection of replacement jaw heads here too.
