When you've bin together for a long time, replace your refuse receptacle with something a bit more stylish, modern, and high-tech. This 50L Automatic Sensor Bin is the ideal bin to use when you require a hands-free disposal system. Scrape peelings off a chopping board without touching the germy bin lid, or empty leftovers without worrying about the lid closing on your hand. The bin automatically senses when you are nearby and opens the lid for you so you don't have to come into contact with it. 

Setting up your new bin is really easy. Simply insert a D-sized battery into the lid and switch it on via the button at the back. Put in your bag and you're ready to go! You can turn it on so that it opens automatically or if you don't need that setting, simply switch it off and use the lid manually instead! 

Choose from a variety of stylish colours to match your kitchen. The body of your new sensor bin is made from steel which is lightweight but sturdy and durable, lasting you and your family for years to come. The rectangular shape means it fits into the corner snugly unlike traditionally round bins which take up a lot of wasted space in your kitchen. Included with your bin is a bag clip which helps to keep the bin bag in place inside the bin!

These stylish sensor bins are great for those situations where you need both hands free such as scraping waste ingredients off your chopping board or leftovers from your plate etc. A natural evolution of the foot-operated bins of the past, these units use infrared technology to sense your proximity, activating the motorised lid for your convenience.
Powered by 'D' cell batteries (those are the large ones), you can also activate the lid via 'Open' and 'Close' buttons as well as turn the unit off entirely at the back if required. Please note that batteries are not included in the package.
The bin itself is steel, whilst the lid assembly has a lightweight plastic design with a mirror effect chrome-plated coating to suit modern kitchens. Also included is a circular bin bag clip.
