Indications:
Furaginum Hasco is a drug indicated for the treatment of acute and recurrent uncomplicated lower urinary tract infections in people over 15 years of age.

Features:
Furaginum Hasco is a non-prescription medicine that contains the active substance furazidine.
Furazidine is a derivative of nitrofuran, which has an inhibitory effect on the growth of bacteria that are responsible for causing urinary tract infection.
It has an effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.

Important information:
Do not use Furaginum Hasco:
- if you are allergic to furazidine, nitrofuran derivatives or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
- during the first three months of pregnancy - during pregnancy (from week 38) and delivery due to the risk of neonatal haemolytic anemia (anemia associated with red blood cell breakdown);
- in children and adolescents under 15 years of age - if you have kidney failure (in a laboratory, creatinine clearance less than 60 ml / min or elevated serum creatinine);
- if you have been diagnosed with polyneuropathy (a disorder of the nervous system related to peripheral nerve damage that may be characterized by movement or sensory disturbances), for example in the course of diabetes.
- if you have a deficiency of the glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase enzyme (an enzyme involved in red blood cell changes).

Composition:
Active substance: furazidine (Furazidinum)
1 tablet contains 50 mg of furazidine.
Other ingredients (excipients): gelled starch, maize starch, sucrose, colloidal anhydrous silica, stearic acid 50

Use:
Adults and adolescents over 15 years of age:
The first day of treatment: 50 mg (2 tablets) 4 times a day; next days: 50 mg (2 tablets) 3 times a day.
The drug should be taken orally during meals containing protein, which increases the absorption of furazidine.
The dividing line allows dividing the tablets into two equal doses. The drug is used for 7-10 days.
If symptoms worsen or do not improve after this time interval, please consult your doctor.
If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after 10-15 days.
