This is my first standing mixer, as have wanted one for ages but somehow had never justified purchasing one as used a hand electric whisk! So read lots of reviews before I took the plunge. Have used this twice in first week of purchase. It whipped meringue well for a pavlova and also mixed a birthday cake. It's easy to use, attachments are easy on / off and easy to keep clean. It'll take me some time to get used to as I was more brutal with hand whisk as you could force it into semi soft butter, whereas this you need to ensure the butter is soft, and you have to stop occasionally to push ingredients down side of bowl. Suction cups grip this to work surface so it doesn't move about. So far I'm pleased with this. AND, on buy provide an efficient and cost effective service as have used them many times and will continue. Item arrived ahead of schedule.Posted 20/11/2021

Disappointed that after making one 500gram mix it would not make a second one because it was overheated. Had to wait for it to cool down. Making two loaves would be a long job.
