This glitter crystal paint additive provides a subtle shimmer to any decorating project. Mix these premium glitter flakes with paint or wood varnish to create a wonderful, iridescent finish to any object or wall. The best part about these non-toxic glitter crystals is that anybody can do it!

Incredibly easy to use, simply add 150 grams of glitter additive to 1.5L of paint (a 150g bag can also be used with 2L of paint) and mix for 3-5 minutes. Adjust the amount of glitter you add accordingly to reach your desired sparkling effect.

Although these glitter crystals will work with many paints or varnishes, they typically work best when combined with matte or silk emulsion paints. Using silk, mid-sheen, or gloss paint with this glitter will provide a more noticeable shimmer. Please avoid using with specialty paints such as egg-shell, or gloss paints that are often marked for a specific room.

Nylon Buffing Pad Included for Extra Shimmer Effect

Also known as a scourer, a buffing pad is used to eradicate bumps or unevenness on painted surfaces. When painting with a glitter additive, a buffing pad can also be used to unleash many more glitter crystals on a dry painted wall. Of course, not all buffing pads are created equally. That's why we took the guesswork out of it for you by including a space-age scouring pad made from advanced fibres, minerals, and resin. Using this premium quality buffing pad properly will ensure your glitter shines like the stars!

Whenever you are ready to paint, it is recommended to do a trial section by using a small amount of glitter and paint before undertaking the full project. Once the paint has fully dried, try "buffing" your new surface by lightly rubbing the included scourer over it in a gentle, circular motion. This process releases millions or additional glitter-crystals by thinning the outer layer of paint, creating even more of a shimmer! In most instances, glitter coverage will increase by 1%-5%. Additional tips would include adding more glitter to less paint and changing the lightbulb in the glitter-painted room to "cool-white", as this provides a unique sparkle effect!
