When to UseRoot Killing Weedkiller contains glyphosate for effective control of annual and deep-rooted perennial garden weeds, including grasses, docks, nettles, willow herb, dandelion, bindweed and many more. Root Killing Weedkiller is inactivated immediately on contact with the soil and is broken down by the soil bacteria to leave no soil residues. Apply when weeds are actively growing and have adequate leaf area to absorb the spray. Spray nettles and ground elder when new leaves have fully unfolded in late spring.
DO NOT spray in windy conditions as drift can damage or kill valued plants. DO NOT walk into treated areas until the spray has dried on the leaves, to avoid transfer to lawns and other wanted vegetation. Rainfall within 6 hours of application may reduce effectiveness and require re-treatment. Treat established perennial weeds at the start of flowering for best effect. Weeds may show the first effects of treatment after a few days or up to 4 weeks later depending on the weather and type of weed. Root Killing Weedkiller kills most weeds with a single application. Leave weeds for at least 7 days before cultivating. Some tough weeds (e.g. ground elder) may need a repeat treatment after 3-4 weeks if regrowth appears.

How to UseIt is recommended to wear gloves when using this product, although they are not required. Remove cap and insert the spray hose supplied into the bottle and secure the screw top on the hose. Alternatively decant into a separate sprayer. Once decanted, replace the cap tightly to any remaining product in its bottle. Set sprayer onto a fine mist. Spray weed leaves lightly until wet but avoid run-off of the liquid. The weed killer is absorbed by the leaves and distributed throughout the weed, reaching right down to the roots. WASH HANDS AND EXPOSED SKIN AFTER USE.
