What happens, you may be thinking, when the sensor's batteries run dry? This would be a problem if you couldn't unscrew the sensor from the LED football, but you can! The sensor sits in a small depression on the surface of the Smart Ball, from which it can easily be unscrewed by hand. Once you've swapped out the battery you can pop it back in as easily as you got it out, and the whole process takes only a few minutes. There's also an air valve built into this keepy uppy ball, letting you top it up with air whenever it starts to go flat.
