We spoke to Emma, who revealed she used a mix of drugstore and luxury makeup brands to create the first part of this Disney Halloween makeup look. She told us, “In this makeup look, I used brushes and the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk palette for my eyeshadow, Maybelline foundation and concealer with a beauty sponge for the base, NYX contour palette with brushes for my contouring, Ardell 8D lashes and YSL lipstick.”

She then revealed how she added some gore to the glam, “I then applied Snazaroo face and body paint with brushes and sponges to create Sleeping Beauty's dress. To make it dark and spooky, I then added dark eyeshadows all over with brushes to create the look of sunken skin and bones showing through.”

Nightmare Before Christmas’ Stitched Together Sally by Evelina Forsell

This interpretation of The Pumpkin King’s beloved is whimsically beautiful thanks to the blue skin tone with just the right amount of horror to make this Disney look fit for the spooky season.

First off, Evelina used the NYX SFX Crème Colour Face and Body Paint Palette in Primary using a mix of the bold blue shade and shadowing techniques to define her face and cheekbones. To create a turquoise base and highlight, she uses a combination of white eyeshadow from a Sugarpill palette, NYX’s Brights Ultimate Palette, and plenty of shade B5 from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Pro Pigment Palette.

“We're going to set our eyebrows in place [and] while that is drying I'm going to go in with the loose highlighter in 'Snowflake' from Anastasia Beverly Hills. I'm going to use the white eyeliner, also from NYX Professional Makeup, and I'm going to create a bigger eye. For the white stitches, I used the same white liquid liner.”

To pull the look together, Evelina adds fine detail to the white stitches using NYX’s Epic Ink Liner, throws a splash of Anastasia’s Liquid Lipstick in shade Sarafine on her lips and applies unmissable yellow and red face and body paint from the SFX Crème Colour Palette to her décolletage for Sally’s outfit.

Spellbinding Sarah Sanderson by Cheyenne Roncales

Cast an unbreakable spell over your delighted guests this Halloween when you dress up as none other than the raucous reanimated witch, Sarah Sanderson from Hocus Pocus!

After applying her Laura Mercier Perfecting Canvas Primer, Cheyenne creates a matte base using her Makeup Forever HD Foundation Stick and Benefit Hoola Bronzer. She then turns her attention to her brows, using the Anastasia Ebony Brow Powder to fill them and create the ultra-arched, fluffy eyebrows donned by Sarah Jessica Parker in the hit Disney film.

“After I did the brows, I went in with the Anastasia brow pen and I flicked out a little more just to accentuate those messy brow hairs because her brow hairs were just so bushy and messy and all over the place and I wanted to really recreate that.” To complete the captivating eyes, Cheyenne applies her Laura Mercier Eye Colour Stick in shade Tuxedo and uses the Sigma F75 brush to buff out the colour. 

To finish this easy Halloween makeup look, Cheyenne adds icy blue contact lenses and recreates Sarah’s lips using Anastasia’s Sarafine Liquid Lipstick and a dark burgundy Mac lip liner. For her ‘infamous mole’, this makeup artist uses Anastasia’s Dark Brown Dipbrow Pomade and the pointed Sigma Eyeliner E05 Brush for precise application.

Queen of Hearts by Emma Riley

Simple to achieve yet seriously stunning, Emma told us how she pulled this iconic Halloween look together, “In this makeup look I used a sponge and the white Snazaroo face paint to cover the face. I then used eyeshadows from the Makeup Revolution Corpse Bride collection for the eyes and contour. I then added chunky pride blue glitter from Proglitz to enhance the eyes. I finished the eyes with Ardell 8D lashes.

“For my lips I used the Fenty Beauty lip paint and finished the face with accents of glitter hearts from Proglitz. I then applied black, white, blue and red Snazaroo face and body paint with brushes and sponges to create the checkerboard-like chest piece.”

Contemporary Cruella de Vil by Nicki Teal

Coinciding with the recent release of the 2021 comedy/crime film ‘Cruella’ - a Disney adaptation of ‘The Hundred and One Dalmatians’ - this Halloween look is just the right combination of fearsome and glamorous for an unforgettable entrance.

Nicki revealed to us how she achieved this classic yet contemporary Cruella look, “[For the eyebrows, I used] HD Brows brow creme in shade “vamp” applied with the HD Brow angled brow define brush to create the bolder, angular eyebrows. I then prepped the eyelid with the P.Louise eyeshadow base in shade “02”. I also used the P.Louise “badda black” eyeshadow base [...] before setting with the Urban Decay eyeshadow. 

“For contour, I used Charlotte Tilbury airbrush bronzer on my temples, jawline and the hollows of my cheekbones. But to really change the shape and dimensions of my facial features I used a dark brown eyeshadow to emphasise my nostrils and nose shape more to the shape of Emma Stone’s.

“[W]ith the second, darker Cruella look, I applied that same P.Louise badda black base with a beauty blender all across my eyes and nose, before using a cotton bud/q tip dipped in Micellar Water to carefully erase away the letters to spell ‘THE FUTURE.’ At the end when I had the second Cruella look, I applied lash glue to my lips and then patted loose red glitter onto my lips with my ring finger for the glitzy, sparkly pout, and voila!”
