Scientific research shows that the three nutrients; meso-zeaxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin are found at the back of the eye, at the macula, where they form the macula pigment (yellow colour). Meso-zeaxanthin is particularly concentrated at the centre of this pigment. The macula is a specialised parts of the eye, responsible for a central detailed vision. Lutein and zeaxanthin can be found in fruits and vegetables and meso-zeaxanthin is present in some species of fish and seafood. The macular pigments in MacuShield are obtained from marigolds (Tagetus Erecta), specifically grown for this purpose. MacuShield Gold combines these three macular carotenoids in a unique formula containing meso-zeaxanthin, in addition to zinc to help maintain normal vision, copper, vitamin C and a natural form of vitamin E, which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Take 3 tablets a day.

I am delighted with this product. My optician recommended it for a potential detached retina. My vision has since improved which I attribute to this product.
When I last went for an eye check up these tablets were recommended to me they are quite expensive but found the best price on this site. I was given a delivery date emailed when they were dispatched and they arrived earlier than expected. Very happy with the service I received.

This is the second time I have purchased Macushield Gold from OnBuy and on both occasions I was very happy with the order and delivery process which was very efficient all around. Hopefully the product twill help my eye condition over a period of time.
I have to have these tablets regularly and the prices have gone up considerably elsewhere but this site is doing an excellent job in not raising their prices
Arrived promptly, but loosely, ie. everything separate - box open and flat, tablet sheets separate and instructions - which you then put together. Not at all difficult and perhaps this keeps the cost down as they are cheaper than other suppliers.
I cannot comment on the quality of these tablets nor whether or not they work.
The item was delivered on time as this it the time I have used this service I'm happy with how it was dealt with. As it is less than a month I cannot say how it has affected my eye condition.

It seems quite expensive but when you're told you have the start of macular generation the cost doesn't come into it. If it helps its got to be better than a white stick.
This is the market leader so just down to best price. genuine product and rapid delivery... Passes all with flying colours. Could have listed the doses of the ingredients but these were on literature included and correct.
Learning about the system: before ordering a year's supply should have waited a while as another supplier on the site dropped the price by 25%...
Another point trying to clarify with difficulty is if can take three tables per day at ONE time. Looks like you may be able to. In which case packaging them in rows of three and small capsules MIGHT not be the best way to Package this?
As a result of seeing Dr Michael Moseley's documentary, I decided to try Macushield. At my recent visual check up, the Optician confirmed that someone with a familial history of macular degeneration is wise to take this product. I notice that some of my friends are now worried about driving in the dark, but I don't seem to be suffering their degeneration. I shall continue with Macushield!

Product arrived flat packed, which was ideal as it could fit through the letterbox. Delivery was very quick too. I have only just been diagnosed with AMD so took precautions straight away, as the optician advised me to take them. Hopefully at my next appointment in 12 months time there will be no drastic changes. Nevertheless AMD runs in my family so this will be something I will be taking the rest of my life.
