With guest checkout being just one of the new features and functions to add to the marketplace ahead of BIG 2023 plans

UK online marketplace OnBuy, has introduced a guest checkout option for customers, making shopping on the marketplace even quicker and easier. 

A recent test has revealed that the addition of a guest checkout option has significantly decreased checkout abandonment and therefore increased website conversion. These results have been calculated to equate to a significant increase in GMV annually for OnBuy’s sellers. 

“Checkout optimisation is a critical part of our customer’s purchase funnel. Once buyers decide that they want to purchase from OnBuy, we want to make their experience as seamless as possible.

“We recognise a customer shopping with OnBuy for the first time might not be familiar with the site, nor want to go through the process of creating an account to make their first purchase. For that reason, we've added a guest checkout option to make shopping at OnBuy even quicker and easier,”

said Dan Seamans, Product Director at OnBuy. 

Adding guest checkout is just one step on OnBuy’s innovative roadmap of developments designed to improve customer experience and add additional revenue for retailers. This roadmap will lead the disruptive UK brand into a very exciting 2023, where the marketplace will launch some industry changing innovations.
