Absolutely awesome camera, although the 18-55mm lens hasn't got much zoom, you can always buy a second hand lens. For beginners this is a great camera to start with, as the picture quality is high and has easy controls. I would give it 4.5/5 starts if that was an option, but 4 will do!

The camera arrived during the stated delivery window. All appears to work fine although the box was slightly damaged upon arrival. It is a present for my son so I might update this review in 2022 after he has had a full chance of using it.
As a complete novice to photography I researched many reviews before buying the Nikon 3500. I didn't want to spend alot of money on something I found too complicated to get to grips with.
I am very pleased withy purchase, found very easy to set up. The camera feels sturdy without being too heavy which was another concern. It also needed too be a suitable size/weight as I take it along when walking my dog.
Picture quality is great using the auto setting, I'm still playing and experimenting with the other settings of which their aren't too many to make it daunting.
Overall very happy and would recommend to any beginner.
I purchased this camera as a Christmas gift having read reviews. It matched my budget and requirements for beginner-mid skilled users. Despite delays due to Covid-19, onbuy kept me informed and delivered in time which really made me happy. Its been in much use since then - delighted all round.
