My Nightly Saviour
I have been using Xylimelts for some time now and my sleep would be very poor without it. I am an insulin dependent diabetic and one of the problems associated with that is a dry mouth (not just dry but feeling like the Sahara!) in addition I use a CPAP machine for sleep apnoea and this makes the problem worse.Xylimelts work by making the mouth salivate. Its active ingredient is a sweetener called Xylitol and at night you apply the tablet to your gum and it sticks almost immediately. Overnight it leeches out and I find that there are still minute traces left and I have had a good nights sleep with a moist mouth.
Xylitol is a pleasant tasting, plant based sweetener which I can thoroughly recommend and I now use the granulated version for sprinkling on cereals etc every morning
