Stand is good and solid, with articulating parts that look as if they'll last for a good few seasons. Base is robust and all of the metalwork is well coated so should hold up well to the weather. The umbrella material is reassuringly thick and appears to be well waterproofed. The item was well packaged with recyclable cardboard. Opened it up, and what a masterpiece , very large and very sturdy, the foot stand was too largefor me so i bolted this into my wooden frame easily, would highly recommend, you will need a good cover for this asin any wind can take it when folded but if not easly dismantled and leave the frame outside, brillant peoduct
