(A10K) 17mm Mono Log Volume Potentiometer Splined Shaft Description

16mm Logarithmic Potentiometer, Mono A Mixer Pot T18 Splined Shaft, Conductive Plastic Track BIS

This is one item of single gang, log, conductive plastic track potentiometer. These are new items and come with a nut and a washer for mounting on a front panel. The splined shaft is 6mm diameter. The mounting hole required is 7mm diameter. The connection pins will allow either PCB mounting or soldered wire connections.  The "A" prefix before the track resistance value denotes a logarithmic audio volume control type track taper.  The max power rating is 0.1W.

The shaft length on all resistance values of these pots is a total of 15mm, where the threaded part is 6mm long and the turning part is 9mm.  This makes them particularly useful for mounting directly into a fairly thin front panel where you might otherwise have to saw off some of the shaft to avoid the knob sticking out too far.

If you have a pot with a track label of A503, this is an A50K where 3 is the number of zeros after 50 in Ohms.  A 502 would be 5K, a 472 would be 4K7 etc.  Sometimes pots may also be labelled with the A as a suffix i.e. 50KA.
