Overview

Our heat shrink is flame retardant, is adhesive lined and has a high shrink ratio. This means that cables/components can be sealed and waterproofed easily, the high shrink ratio means that connectors don't usually need to be removed from cables as this heat shrink can be slided over the top. Youâll need a heat source to raise the temperature to around 90 degrees Celsius. A heat gun is most suitable for this which we also sell. Having heated the shrink tubing sufficiently the sleeve will reduce in size. This provides a longer lasting, more durable seal than insulation tape, and it wonât lose grip over time. As it is heavy duty and has a thick outer jacket, it can be used for bundling cables together.
