Summary
Climeo not only contains an environmentally friendly refrigerant replacement, but also a specially selected lubricating oil to ensure that the compressor in the A/C system works properly for a long time.
In addition:
The product contains a UV dye to detect minor leaks in the system.
-400 ml Climeo can,
-Installation instructions.
Note: To install Climeo you need a hose with a pressure gauge, which is available on our other auctions.
1 Preparation (Arming)
1.1 In the hose in the valve with the needle (large knob) retract the needle as much as possible by turning the knob to the left.
1.2 Connect the hose with the pressure gauge to the can by screwing the knob onto the thread of the can. Do not move the needle!
1.3 Make sure the car engine is running and the air conditioning is switched on in closed-circuit mode, with maximum power and lowest temperature. Then open the vehicle bonnet.
2 Charging process
2.1 Connect the quick connect hose coupling with the pressure gauge to the vehicle's low pressure (LP) valve. The LP valve is usually marked with a blue or black cap with the letters 'LP'. Position the can with the valve down.
2.2 Measure the pressure in the A/C system, see what value is shown on the pressure gauge ( clock ).
- If the pressure indicates 25-45 psi, no topping up is necessary.
- If the pressure is below 25 psi, proceed to the next step.
2.3 Adding gas to the system Turn the knob clockwise so that the needle moves the check valve and allows gas to flow. The charging process will begin. Add gas gradually - controlling the flow of refrigerant by slowly turning the knob.During charging, the pressure gauge will indicate higher pressures as the gas has not yet had time to expand.Stop the gas flow for a moment by turning the dial counterclockwise, and check the current A/C system pressure with the valve closed. This will allow you to assess what the current system pressure is.Repeat this process several times until the gauge pointer reaches the green zone, which is between 25 and 45 psi. Do not try to knock the refrigerant out of the can "by force". The remaining refrigerant in the can can be used next time.
3 Completing the operation
3.1 Disconnect the line from the vehicle air conditioning system.
3.2 Screw the cap on the vehicle's low pressure (LP) line.
3.3 Leave the vehicle with the engine running and the A/C settings as in 1.3 for a few minutes.
3.4. After about two weeks, repeat the system pressure measurement (point 2.2) to check whether a recharge of the refrigerant is necessary.
