Had the urge to review the old photos and wanted to find precious memories of the past time? Old photos freeze each memorable moment. A portable cube can easily meet all your fantasy. Without any PC or software, it supports converting film and slide to digital photos promptly.
You are supposed to load slides and negatives in the board holder. After that insert an SD card into the back card slot. Plugging the scanner in power, to turn on the scanner, you need to press the scanning button. Then you can operate it according to the indication of the manual on the device screen and scan. You can read it from a PC through a USB connection.
Support to 35mm/135 mm Negative & Slide, transform to JPEG format, saved directly to 32 GB SD card (Not included).

This item can be powered by DC 5V or USB cable with the charged device. Without any limitation of PC operation, can work with Wins XP, Wins 7, Wins 8, Wins 10 and MAC. Just need a USB cable, and you can view and edit the digital format that just scanned into the PC.
Pressing the manual key to enter into the main manual, you can choose slide style on the shooting mode. Choose the needed image type like positive film, negative film, B&W. If you want to scan B&W film, you are supposed to choose B&W. And you need to choose the positive film if there is a positive film at the board holder. When the negative film is at the board holder, please choose the negative film. Meanwhile, you can adjust the exposure compensation to make sure that you get the best scanning result.

DIGITNOW! Slide Scanner Convert 35mm Negative Film &Slide to Digital JPEG
With a brand new 32GB SD Card the Digitnow functioned well in converting slides to JPEG images. These JPEG images were then converted to photos on my MacBook Pro. I have yet to convert negatives.

Not a great item
Not a great item. Sadly this item was not brilliant. Good results were difficult to achieve, despite use of an air spray to remove dust particles, pretty much all the pictures had spots on. I would not recommend this for scanning your slides.

the product is great once you realise that references in the manual to "manual" actually mean "menu". also bear in mind that turning the power on/off changes settings to film type. i think overalll the product is very good value for money.

Digitnow slide scanner
I have started digitising slides from 1980s and results seem fine considering age and condition. A small amount of cropping is necessary as edges of mount are just visible.

Robust basic scanner
It is well made and powered via a USB cable. The scanned images are saved to an SD card (not supplied). It is basic in that there is no provision for editing the images. I have used it purely for slides but it can handle film negatives too. I found it difficult at first to work out how to load the original slides so as to avoid reversing the image, but the carrier in which the slides are placed can be simply turned over until the desired effect is achieved.
