I am always sceptical about buying 'cheaper' brand rechargable batteries, but as this comes with a 5 year warranty I decided to give it a try.
It arrived in the timescale given and is an easy self fit, just 2 screws to remove the old unit and replace with the new. I put it on charge and was pleased to see it has a charging light which indicates how far charged it is (unlike the Dyson original which is just permanently on).
After leaving it for a day to fully charge it works great, the amount of usage time is at least as long as when the Vacuum was new, if not longer. It also supports continuous charging which means it can be left plugged in charging so it's always ready to use.
It has only been a couple of weeks, but I am very hopeful it will be a great purchase.
Charged for about 4 hours after fitting.
OMG, it’s like a new vacuum, and managed to do the entire house.
