I could not find a decent armoured case for my phone on Amazon or anywhere else! I was so glad to find this one in gold. It's very sturdy and fits perfectly.
My glitter-filled gel case for my A9 (2018) finally split after I dropped my phone one too many times. Searching for a new case, the options for my phone were surprisingly limited. I decided on this one as it seemed robust, inexpensive, and sent from the UK (as opposed to the China option on another site). Delivery was speedy - I think once I'd placed my order the confirmation email suggested I'd be waiting over a week but in fact the case arrived within a day or two.
The first thing I noticed was just how heavy the case is, and therefore how heavy my phone is in it! But, I have got used to this.
The second thing I noticed was that whenever I tried to lock the phone before putting it away, I ended up taking a screenshot instead. Funny, as that method had eluded me previously (I always use the hand swipe), but then it just became annoying. The PWR, vol - and vol + buttons on the case run in serial, and pressing either PWR or vol - ended up in a screenshot. In the end I have had to make a number of cuts in the case to be able to use these buttons on the side at all.
At least all the camera holes do line up very well. However it's a bit fiddly to get your charger in as you need two hands to hold the port cover open in order to get the charger in.
All in all this is an excellent rigid, protective cover, I have every faith that it will protect my phone when I drop it, however the buttons needed some attention in order to be usable.
Finally, it came with a screen cover protective film and a stylus, which I hadn't realised were included, so you do get a lot for your fiver.
