The ICO Tortilla Press makes it very easy and fun for you and your family and friends. 

Kids love to make the dough balls with their hands and then press them using the iron press. Makes for a wonderful kitchen experience for the whole family.  

The taste of your tacos, quesadillas or any Mexican recipe will be better tasting and more authentic with homemade tortillas. To have best-ever tacos or any Mexican dish with homemade tortillas you will need: 
 

• ICO Tortilla Press  
• 2 cups of masa harina (special corn four for tortillas) 
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 
• 1 1/2 cups hot water (hot tap water is fine) 
   
• Mix the masa harina and the salt together in a mixing bowl. Pour in the water and stir to combine. 
• Using your hands form a ball in your hand.  
• Place the ball of dough on the center of the tortilla press. Always place the round parchment paper disks underneath and on top of the dough. This will prevent the tortilla to stick to the press. 
• Press with the handle to flatten the dough.  
• If the tortilla doesn't look quite even after pressing or you'd like it a little thinner, rotate the tortilla in the parchment disk and re-press. 
• Peel away the non stick parchment disks 
• Using a hot pan, cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side. 
• Serve immediately, or cool and refrigerate for up to 3 days 
• Any leftover tortillas that become too stale or dry to eat as tacos can be fried or baked into tortilla chips
