(Qty 10) Light Dependant Resistor LDR Photoresistor CdS Light Detector Cell Description
Light Dependant Resistor / LDR / Photoresistor / CdS Cell.
This is one pack of miniature LDR which can replace the old ORP12 in most situations. This is smaller, just 5mm diameter which makes it ideal for combining with a 5mm LED to form a fully isolated, wide range variable resistance with zero voltage offset. If you really want an analogue audio compressor or fader system to have very low distortion and very low control voltage feedthrough, this can be one way to make the variable gain core. The whole unit is coated in transparent epoxy.
