YUZET FLOOD DEFENCE SAND BAGS

All Yuzet sand bags Measure 33cm x 78cm / 13" x 31" ( approx when Empty )

All sandbags come with an attached tie string.

All sand bags will hold approx 25kg / 56lb of sand.
Be careful not to overfill, for maximum prevention sandbags should be filled to approx 2/3rds.

They are available in either, Hessian, Woven polypropylene or UV Protected Woven Polypropylene.

Hessian are the traditional sand bag, these are made from natural hessian and are environmentally friendly as they will decompose naturally.

The standard white and black sand bags are made from woven polypropylene ( a plastic material ), These are the cheaper alternative to flood defence but have no UV inhibitor.

The Green and Beige sand bags have a UV inhibitor and are therefore longer lasting than the standard, these are also made from woven polypropylene.

When planning how many bags you will need, please be aware that once filled the actual length is approx 50cm.

As well as flood defence, sand bags have many other uses.
Weighing down of road signs, Trampolines, garden furniture, nettings, tarpaulins, tents, to name a few.

They can also be used for building landscaping structures and embankments and can be completely covered with soil etc.
