Designed to deliver quality and convincing sound, the QED Performance Audio 40i is an interconnect that features complementary Conductor Technology and Anamate RCA plugs. It is made with solid complementary conductor technology; there are two electrically isolated oxygen free copper conductors, both with different diameters beneath PVC jacket, braided foil shield, ferrite jacket and foamed polyethylene dielectric. The two separate conductors, out of which one is made of copper and other is silver plated, carry the audio signals in an effective manner. They provide complete, least compromised route for audio information.

The output sound after travelling through the Performance Audio 40i phono pair has greater scaling and increased three-dimensionality as compared to other interconnect cables. In the ‘Anamate' arrangement of the plugs, the copper conductors are gold-plated. The high-purity copper conductors give the Audio 40i low-resistance that is required to produce unrivalled sound and longer durability. These gold-plated conductors prevent the generation of eddy current that makes the transmission of the signal smooth and easy.

The QED Performance Audio 40i is insulated with ferrite jacket. The ferrite insulation ensures the improvement in the capability of the cable to reduce the noise. The high-frequency signal noise is eliminated by the cable because of the ferrite insulation. It improves the accuracy of high-frequency impulse transmission that improves the timing and dynamics.
