(A200K) Stereo Potentiometer Logarithmic A Splined Shaft Description

Log Stereo Audio Potentiometer, Variable Resistor, Dual A Track Pot with 6mm diameter T18 Splined Shaft.

This is one item of dual gang, logarithmic taper, carbon track potentiometer. These are new items and come with a nut and a washer for mounting on a front panel. The splined shaft is the standard 6mm diameter type. The mounting hole required is 7mm diameter. The connection pins will allow either PCB mounting or soldered wire connections.  The "A" prefix before the track resistance value denotes a logarithmic audio track taper intended for direct analogue audio volume control.  The max power rating is 0.1W.  The track tolerance is +/-20%.

Some of the available track values have a shaft length where the rotating part is 9mm in length.  Other track values have a rotating part of length 10mm.  The threaded part of the shaft is 6mm length in all cases.  Some of the parts do not have an anti-rotation lug on the pot body.  The variation photographs of the particular track values show the exact parts in all cases.

If you have a pot with a track label of A503, this is an A50K where 3 is the number of zeros after 50 in Ohms.  A 502 would be 5K, a 472 would be 4K7 etc.  Sometimes pots may also be labelled with the A as a suffix e.g. 50KA.
