Opium by Yves Saint Laurent is a fragrance from the Oriental Spicy olfactory family for Women. Opium was launched in 1977. Opium was created by Jean Amic and Jean-Louis Sieuzac. The Top Notes are coriander, plum, citrus, mandarin, pepper, jasmine, cloves, malagueta and bergamot, the heart notes are carnation, sandalwood, patchouli, cinnamon, orris root, peach (peach), lily of the valleys (lily of the valley) and rose, the base notes are labdanum, tolu balsam, sandalwood, opoponic, musk, coconut, vanilla, benzoin, vetiver, incense, cedar, myrrh, castoreum and amber
