Great safety guard. Keeps little fingers away from the stove. It has hooks so that it can be attached to the wall but sturdy enough without attachment. Good size.

I am so impressed with the quality of this product. Exactly as the image advertised. I have a brand new log burner & reluctant to use a guard as they usually spoil the look of the fire, but having children around, I knew that safety was paramount. I ordered this after reading that it would fold flat when not in use. This guard is amazing & I actually prefer the look of the fire with this surround. It is sturdy, visually pleasing & the opening door means that the guard never has to be moved to mend the fire. 10 out of 10 for this product.
Reassuring to know my grandchildren cannot get to wood burner, the guard does get very warm (obviously!) but would warn them the area is hot without causing serious injuries! The guard looks really stylish as well and is very sturdy.
