I normally don't leave reviews as I think they are a waste of time, but this OnBuy deserves one.I can't believe that OnBuy has been hidden from me for so long. The buds are genuine, work perfectly and were much cheaper than other retailers.
The clarity of the calls is really good for both myself to hear others and for those I'm talking to, to hear me. It doesn't have active noise cancelling, but for normal everyday life, the passive noise cancelling works a treat. The volume is great. They can get super loud, plus the range and incremental changes is excellent. The bass is punchy but won't blow your ears.
Function-wise, the touch pad is very responsive. Other reviews I've read made mention that when you use it the tapping affects the pressure in your ear, making it uncomfortable; that has not been my experience and I suspect that they are tapping way to hard. The voice telling you of who is calling and what type of notification you have received is nice. The voice is gentle and doesn't interrupt what you are listening to harshly; it almost like someone nudging you to mention to you that someone is calling.
The buds are comfortable to wear for long periods (hours) without really noticing them. The 3 different size tips will help ensure a perfect fit. They stay snuggly in your ear to the point at which only shaking your head violently for a period of time will cause them to fall out. The case is much smaller that you think. Sure it is bigger than the air Pods case but not massively; and it still fits in that otherwise useless small pocket in the main pocket of your jeans - yes finally there is a user for it.
Looking at other reviews there seems to be a few ear buds that are said to be better and are ranked higher, but they are 2-3 times the price of these and frankly, unless you are a REAL audiophile, it's not worth the bump up in price for your average Joe. They still often land in the top 5 and almost always higher than the prolific air Pods - showing that sometimes function does triumph over style.
The only negative I have is that the function to letting external sound in, is either an on-all-the-time function or a tap-and-on function. But since I want to keep it off and also reserve the 2 customisable tap options for volume up and volume down, when I do want to hear the outside world, I need to take one of the buds out.
I read the reviews, so I knew I was getting a quality product. I read the Trust Pilot reviews of this company, and knew I was getting them from a good supplier. I can now throw in my 2 cents and say that buying this product, from this marketplace & this seller at this price, will leave you with no regrets.
