Made in Germany, Stölzle has been representing innovation and quality in glass making for 125 years. Stölzle's Revolution Series glasses are your first choice when it comes to toasting in style. The shape of the glass radiates with timeless elegance. At the same time, the glasses are very durable. These are traits that make them popular at home and in gastronomy. They are used by restaurant owners for sparkling wines and champagne.
The name says it all: Stölzle's Revolution Series has revolutionized wine drinking. The red wine glasses were custom tailored to wines by star architect Wilhelm Holzbauer and wine expert Heinz Kammerer.The result is highly functional Burgundy glasses with a modern shape.
The Burgundy glasses are mechanically manufactured from lead-free crystal glass. During the manufacturing process, bowl and stem are merged in a way that leaves no seams to be seen, making the glass look like it's made from one piece. The slightly shortened stem makes the glasses stable and fracture resistant, despite its thin nature This makes the glass suitable for your daily wine enjoyment. The elegant glasses are also highly popular with restaurant owners
Each glass from the Revolution Series has been designed to reinforce the aromas of wine through the glass shape. Its designers have adjusted the bowl's shape of this glass to factors such as acidity, maturity, tannin, viscosity and bouquet.
The increased volume of the glass bowl allows for a large surface area, enabling the wine to breathe well. The wine glass tapers upwards, concentrating the aromas in the glass.
These Burgundy glasses are particularly suitable for mature wines low in tannin, such as Barbaresco, Barolo, Pinot Noir and Burgundy wine
