Composition:1 dragee contains: silymarin concentrate from milk thistle seeds (Silybi mariani fructus extractum) with a content of 35 mg, 70 mg flavonolignans calculated as silybin. Silymarin is a group of flavonolignans: silybin, silidiamine and silicristine.Action:Protective effect on the liver of silymarin concentrate is explained by the stabilization of liver cell membranes, which protect against the harmful effects of toxic substances. The presumed mechanism of action, in addition to protecting the membranes of liver cells, is to intensify cellular processes of protein synthesis, leading to faster regeneration and the ability to form new cells and anti-oxidative activity.indications:Recovery states after toxic-metabolic liver damage caused, among others toxic agents (e.g. plant protection products, alcohol) and after eating hard to digest food. Supportively in liver dysfunction and chronic inflammation.Dosage:Adults and children over 12 years of age: 2 x 35 mg dragees 3 times a day or 1 x 70 mg dragee after eating 3 times a day, unless your doctor tells you otherwise. Efficacy is observed after taking the drug for a long time, from a 4-week period in cases of poisoning, to a 6-month treatment in chronic cases. After consulting a doctor and after more serious poisoning, you can increase the dose to 10 dragees a day.
