This 26 cm Kadai is part of Tefal’s Madras Collection range. This range features specially shaped cookware to allow you to cook authentic Indian cuisine from the comfort of your own home.
This Kadai features a durable non-stick coating, promising a long lasting cooking performance. This Kadai also features Tefal’s iconic Thermo-Spot technology, which indicates when the pan has reached the optimum cooking temperature.
As well as this, the Kadai comes with a glass lid, allowing you to easily monitor your cooking on the hob or in the oven, without releasing any heat.
Tefal Madras Collection
The Madras collection from Tefal, offers you 2 pieces of authentic Indian cookware with the Kadai and the Chapati pan. With over 9,000 Indian restaurants in the UK, Indian cuisine is a mainstay of British eating habits. Tefal thoroughly test their non-stick coatings through 8,000 abrasion cycles which ensures optimum glide over time. Durable, this non-stick coating provides a long lasting protection against scratches and abrasions.
Thermo-Spot Technology
Over 10 years ago, Tefal invented the Thermo-Spot. This heat indicator works by changing to a solid red colour when the pan has reached the optimum cooking temperature, ensuring optimal cooking results without the risk of under or overheating.
Vented glass lidThe Kadai comes with a vented glass lid. The benefit of glass lids is the ease of which you can keep an eye on your cooking, ensuring that nothing is burning or drying out. The vent allows you to release a continuous amount of steam without removing the lid.
Tefal QualityLifetime guarantee on non-stick against blistering and peeling. Suitable for all heat sources, excluding induction and dishwasher safe.

Exactly what I expeted it to be. Brilliant for one-pot stove top meals. Shame the handles don't appear to be oven-proof otherwise this would have been perfect.
