We found that comics can earn you millions, with the first edition of Action Comics from 1938 sold on eBay in 2014 for just over £2.4 million ($3.2m), when the bidder had only put it up for 99 cents (76p)! If you’re looking for comic books to invest in and be in with the chance of earning a small fortune, it’s well worth looking in charity shops, comic book stores and in your attic for any of the following old comics:

In fact, our analysis can reveal that owning a first edition of one of these can get you close to half a million!

We found that the most expensive bundle of Beanie Babies ever sold included a large Wallace, two regular sized Wallaces, Cashew, and Huggy, which sold a staggering £458,000 ($600,000)! Other Beanie Babies of value include:

Our research can reveal that the most expensive Barbie doll ever sold was designed by fine jewellery designer Stefano Canturi and went for just under a quarter of a million pounds (£231,000 or $302,500) in 2010. The rare doll, which featured emerald-cut pink diamonds, was made and auctioned to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
