About Unicorn Darts
The self described “big name in darts”, Unicorn have been creating premium equipment for the smallest missile sport for over 130 years. With the finely crafted Unicorn darts you’ll find in this edit, your shots will be smoother and more accurate than ever before. With choices for players of every skill level, from gifted amateurs to seasoned pros, you shouldn’t so much as glance at a dartboard without perusing this category in full!
Unicorn dart bodies
Like a fine wine, the success of Unicorn darts is all in the body. The central pillar of your dart deeply affects how it will fly once you let loose, and therefore it's incredibly important to choose the right body for your playing style and level of experience. Luckily, our verified sellers have a ton of Unicorn darts to choose from.
If your experience with darts is limited to the odd game down the pub or throwing them across your bedroom at a hastily mounted dartboard, brass Unicorn darts are best. These low cost, lightweight darts will help you get used to scoring good groupings, and with a wide range of knurling (that’s the shape and thickness of the grip to darts newbies) to choose from, you can find a fit that’s right for you in no time.
If you’re ready to step up your game to the next level, you can go with the pros and choose Unicorn darts with tungsten bodies. These dart bodies are much denser, and therefore heavier, than brass or steel bodies. This cuts down the profile of your darts, allowing tighter grouping while maintaining the weight you’ll need for a comfortable throw and minimising bounce-outs. The higher the concentration of tungsten per dart, the more actuated this characteristic will be; Unicorn darts start out at 80% tungsten, but can get as high as 95%.
Unicorn darts are so amazing that many professional darts players use them at competition level. Some of these pros have worked with Unicorn to develop their own, custom darts, and you may see official copies of these darts, called the Contender range, in this edit. Pick up top darts co-designed by legends like Ronny Huybrechts, Ted Evetts and Devon Petersen here.
The body of your set of Unicorn darts is important, but you shouldn’t neglect the flights. These plastic wingtips keep the dart stable and spinning correctly in the air, and Unicorn make lots of flight shapes for different styles.
If you’re struggling to keep your darts in the air, pick up Unicorn’s Big Wing style flights to give you maximum lift. Alternatively, if it’s the tightest possible grouping you’re looking for, look to their slim, xtra or DXM flights. One thing’s for sure - whatever your style or needs as a dart player are, you’ll find the best products in this Unicorn darts category!
