I've given one star because I can't give zero, which would be my preference. I ordered a new Tefal soup maker for £126.16. It was delivered on time, and there the good service stopped. The soup maker arrived in a box that had clearly been opened. The manufacturer's guarantee and recipe booklet were missing, and the lead was just loose in the box. I can't prove that the soup maker had been used, but it was clearly not new. I had an increasingly bizarre exchange of messages with the seller, who insisted the soup maker was new, but the box had just been opened. Why? By whom? No answers. He eventually offered me a 'partial refund' (amount unspecified). Luckily I'd taken screenshots of all the messages and photos of the packaging, lead etc. I'd asked Tangoo Deals to send me a return label, which they eventually and reluctantly did - but the label showed a different name attached to my address. Again, why? No satisfactory explanation was forthcoming. I paid the postage myself, which gave me their address and all tracking details. Once I was able to contact OnBuy customer support, they were very helpful and organised a full refund very quickly. Buyer beware! OnBuy is an online marketplace with excellent customer service - but each transaction is only as good as the seller. Tangoo Deals tried to pass off what appeared to be a second hand product as new. I've since bought a Tefal soup maker from a reputable seller and it arrived with the lead and plug secured and in a protective cover, with the lid secured to the soup maker and with a guarantee and recipe book. Very different to what Tangoo Deals tried to sell me!

OnBuy were helpful and efficient and secured my refund - but I had a week of time consuming hassle to get there.

I'd recommend extreme caution in buying from Tangoo Deals and keep careful records of all transactions and messages.

DO NOT BUY FROM TANGOO DEALS!! Absolute nightmare which has carried on for over a month i returned a soupmaker which was sold to me as new but was used and arrived in a tatty box! I returned via royal mail 24 hour tracked and insured on 6th January to the address provided by onbuy ( of tangoo deals) I followed the tracking history and the final final msg on the tracking said ' recipitent no longer at this address' scam company would give zero stars but unfortunately the lowest is 1
