Automatic programming Compatible with all motorcycles, quad bikes, bikes etc. Will fit anything with a shift lever oacute;w Red backlit display automatically dims at night. Detects the current gear faster than other gear indicators that use the speedometer/tachometer signal. The display can be mounted anywhere Install: To find the gear display plug as Smoku technology to the product, then connected to the power line and the speed signal line is inserted into the tank below! Once the monitor is in place, check the cable for damage to the steering system! Step: You need to configure this module after installation. Only do setup when the engine is warm so that the idle speed is normal, find a long, straight road with light traffic. The unit does not learn the same gear twice, this makes it easier to set On Road. If necessary, you can even swipe the wd oacute; and pause during setup. Don't stare at the display, watch the road and drive with the utmost care as always! Turn on the ignition. The display counts backwards (6 to 1), indicating that the memory is clear. When 'l' is flashing, keep the engine in neutral and allow the engine to idle. When the display flashes ''1'', select two-position. Release the clutch and stare normally. The display flashes faster while the device learns the hardware. When the display shows 'n' (next), select two-position. Repeat this process until all runs have been thought of. In high gear, wait until ''o'' (end) is indicated and the display stops flashing. The device is now programmed and should indicate all gears correctly. When the ignition is turned on, the display counts forward (from 1 to 6), indicating that it is programmed and fully functional. Rest: If some gears are not indicated correctly, please reset your device and set it again. If you change the transmission (install a new front or rear sprocket) or install a speedometer (or other speedometer calibrator), you will probably need to reset and re-set it. Cut off the power to the unit 6 times in a row while the display counts and shows 3,4 or 5. You can turn the display on/off by turning the ignition key on/off. In the next power up, the display will count backwards (6 to 1). The memory is now clear and you can complete the setup procedure.
