The seller advised me of the need for a SIM card to enable this to work, when I queried the absent "free satellite internet". They also quickly gave me a 30% refund (allowing me to keep the device) because of it, stating the difficulties of returning the item for a full refund. So I now have a duplicate device that I will have to pay to use.
