How to use sanding discs:
1. Put the sanding disc on the hook and loop backing pad, use sanding disc grit 80 first for coarse polishing 2--5 minutes, you will see the deep scratch getting lighter and lighter ,at last disappear, but the glass will get many light scratch and vague.
2. then use grit 320 or 1000 for fine polishing, to remove light scratch caused by the 1st step, the working area should be bigger to cover the area of 1st step, use a pen or label drawing on the back of glass to help you know where the area of scratch is.
3. Check whether the deep scratch get lighter ad lighter, then use grit 3000 disc for a fine polishing.
4. Using which grit is decided by how light of deep you have made the scratch into, it means you no need use all of grit sanding discs. In most of case, you only need using 3 grit, that is Grit 80 first, then grit 1000, at last grit 3000 (green), other grit is just for back up method.
5. During the process please check the glass every 3 or 5 minutes, you will see deep scratch disappear. Glass will get many light scratch and be vague, look like fog.
