42mm Ratchet Pvc Pipe Cutter

Very happy with the quality of the tool, no plastic parts and cuts very clean.

Not being a tradesman I have baulked at the expenditure of hard earned cash for a dedicated tool to cut, very occasionally, small diameter plastic pipe. However, following the costly repairs to both walls and ceilings necessitated by the antics of the 'plumber' sourced when we built our house, (who seemingly used a hacksaw to cut short Pvc sections so roughly that subsequently several push-fit joints failed under working pressures):I resolved never to cut Pvc without a dedicated tool. Just recently in retirement, a simple DIY improvement involved just 4 cuts. By now I'd learnt my lesson, again the result would reside behind plasterboard but for me it must be done 'right'. In seeking what I imagined was a suitable quality tool, yet at a budget price I settled on my Blue Spot purchase. I am so pleased on my choice and remain convinced that it is sufficiently durable to repeat many years of far more service and will probably grace my son,s toolbox in due course.
