Perfect. Functional chair easily changed into sturdy steps which feel very safe. Assembly Instructions leave a bit to be desired but lay everything out first and you’ll get there!! Excellent value for money.

The engineered bamboo quality seems very good, the shaping and surface finish excelent. But with all edges finished 90 degree sharp, the chair would soon show every knock and will not be cumfortable to use. I have shamfered all the edges and polished.
The instructions although rudimentary and only pictorial enabled my wife to assemble with ease and she is very happy with the end result.
The bamboo is an excelent match to modern light wood furnature.

I'm very pleased with this step ladder chair. Assembly would have been easier if the instructions had matched the pieces delivered. The instructions show more pieces than in the box, but after some head scratching I realised that a number of pieces were already put together in a sub-assembly and not delivered in component parts as per the diagram. The bag containing the screws and other small parts had burst inside the box and one tine screw had disappeared forever - probably impaled in the packing material. These were small niggles with an otherwise excellent product - strong, attractive and useful
