RJ45 Network Interface: Featuring a standard RJ45 port, this product gave a nice amount of water protection for my outdoor RJ45 connection. One side attaches to the dishy and the other side allows the use of a standard CAT6 ethernet cable. Gen 3 Ethernet Adapter allows direct connection from Standard V3 and MINI to standard Ethernet cables.

Key points: The ethernet adapter compatible with standard V3 (Rev. 4) dishy and router and mini. In scenarios requiring an ethernet cable coupler/extender, opt for Cat6A or better cables with 23 AWG or higher and high-quality RJ45 ends for a reliable connection. Due to the unstable power of third party's POE injector, we recommend using regular Ethernet cable (23 AWG or better) not exceeding 75 ft in length.
