A great little camera to start the photographic journey. Good empnough quality pictures to enlarge to poster size. A full range of settings to experiment wit moving away from the automatic setting. Great to have video option too.

Bought this for my 13 year old daughter who will start her GCSE Photography next school year.
The fuctionality is easy to learn and doesn't take long before your up and running with it. Build quality is as expected from Canon which is top notch. Images are also impressive considering this is a low end DSLR and the supplied lense has a good wide angle (18mm) and up to 55mm giving it plenty of scope as oppossed to a standard 50mm that some camers have. So far I would highly recommend this camera for anyone starting out in Photography.
