The DIR9001 TO CS8412 board is a digital receiver module that directly replaces CS8412/8414. As long as it was originally installed using DIP28 (28 pin direct insertion), it can be directly replaced. The following points need to be noted:
Format setting
The J0 and J1 jumper caps the DIR9001 TO CS8412 board are set for output format. The setting shown in the figure is in 16 bit RJ format. For digital filters such as DF1700 and SM5813, please use this format.
Settings for several formats:
FMT0 FMT1
L L 16BIT MSB first, right justified, DF1700, SM5813 and other digital filters use this format
L H 24 bit MSB first, left justified, PMD100 can use this format
H L 24 bit, MSB first, right justified, PCM1792/1794/1796/1798, etc. can use this format,
H H 24-bit, MSB-first, I2S , For chips such as NOS1541 and SAA7220, please use this format.
